After Alpha

Your guests had an amazing experience on Alpha. Some grew in new ways in their already present Christian faith while others came to faith for the first time. Some were filled with the Holy Spirit in life-changing ways. Most all made new friends in the process! So, what is next?

Here are some resources that many teams and churches across the country have found helpful for both the team and guests to...

  • Stay Connected - with the new friends and community they have discovered

  • Respond with their lives- to share what they have been given with others in service, on the Alpha team or within other ministries

  • Grow Spiritually - in their relationship with God/Jesus/Holy Spirit, maybe even take the next steps toward getting baptized or joining a community

  • Grow in Knowledge  - learn more about the life and teachings Jesus, about scripture, and also often about the church and faith tradition they are connected with

Get involved in Alpha

Invite guests to join the team on your next Alpha. There are roles on the presenting team (hosts and helpers) as well as the many behind the scenes, easy entry roles (prayer team, technology, meals, etc.).

Invite your guests to invite their friends to the next Alpha!

The Local Church Community

- For those seeking to be connected or more involved with the local church, you can connect guests to various community and service groups within your church, depending on their interests.

- For those who have newly come to faith and may be seeking baptism or confirmation, or simply more information and exploration, make sure to connect them with those involved in this type of inquiry outreach in your community.

Small Faith Sharing Groups

Alpha Reunion Groups/Connect Groups/Church Life Groups or other intentional small groups are great ways for people to stay connected with one another and support one another in the context of a faith community and the ups and downs of daily life. They are places to have fun, learn, grow and share and pray together. Many churches have such groups already in existence or you can start something new. Contact us for tips on starting a group
