Angela currently serves as the Global Director of Prayer for Alpha. She will be sharing her incredible gifts and experiences with us around how to host vibrant and life changing times of prayer on your Alpha Courses.

We will be discussing the three times prayer ministry takes place on Alpha, hear some practical tips, and spend some time in prayer.

A little about Angela:

I grew up in Texas, and when I was 12 years old, I attended a middle school church camp where I encountered the Holy Spirit. Looking back now, I can say I received the gift of evangelism—I couldn’t stop sharing about Jesus!

Fast forward to my final year at university when I studied in London. My parents recommended HTB where Alpha started. I had no idea what they were talking about, but it was only a 10-minute walk, so I went. I helped on my first Alpha at HTB and watched through the weeks as all the guests accepted Jesus. I fell in love with Alpha!

In 2006, I began work at Alpha’s London office as a video producer. Since then, I’ve been Regional Director for Alpha in New York City, Regional Director in Los Angeles, Head of Marketing for Alpha USA, National Director of Prayer, and just recently stepped into the role as Global Director of Prayer.

I genuinely love the Church and sharing the good news of Jesus and I am humbled to serve in the area of prayer. On the weekends, you can find me watching Formula 1 (Get in there, Lewis!!), playing the ukulele, or at the beach with my family. I live in Los Angeles with my very British husband Nick, our daughter Eloise (8), son Richard (6), and mischievous (but very cute) dog B.B.
